Nick is at the corner pretzel stand buying his favorite snack. As soon as he pulls his wallet out to pay for it, some kid runs buy, snatches the wallet from Nick's hands and speeds off down the street with Nick in hot persuit. Out of nowhere some well-meaning Good Samaritin grabs Nick's arm and says he's callint the police because he caught the dirty old man who was chasing the innocent kid for now good reason. The do-gooder stops dialing the police when Nick produces his .38 and sticks it in the man's face. "Idiot," Nick said. "That kid took my wallet and you let him get away." Sounds like an honest mistake, but all is not as it seems in this cat-and-mouse game.
